I am a current member but I am not seeing my member discount.

In order to receive your membership discount for program registrations and retail purchases, you need to link your member ID number to your online account. Log into your account (or create an account if you haven’t already). Once logged in, you will be brought to your My Account screen. Select ‘Update Account Details.’ You will then be prompted to enter your ID number to claim your membership.

 

I do not know my member ID number.

Your Historic New England member number can be found above your name on your membership card. Also, if you have received a newsletter in the mail, your member ID number is printed above your name and address.  If you still need assistance, please contact the Membership Team, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 617-994-5910.

 

I forgot my password.

You can request a new password here. A temporary link from Historic New England will be sent to your email account (you may want to check your spam folder). Click on the link within the email to choose a new password. Once you have selected a new password, you can log in to your account.

 

I am not sure if I have registered since June of 2015.

We made some changes to our website in June of 2015 that required all users to create new online accounts (even if you had already created one on our website in the past). If you are ensure if you have created an account since June of 2015, try creating an account as a New User via the log in page. If you receive a message that your email is tied to an already existing account, follow the steps to reset your password in order to sign in. My membership has expired. Will I have the same member ID number if I renew?

Yes, your membership number will stay the same.

 

I just joined as a member online. When will I receive my member welcome packet?

You will receive a welcome packet in the mail in approximately the next 10 business days. This will include a formal acknowledgement letter with any applicable tax language, your membership card(s), a current property guide and passport, and the most recent newsletter. Should you wish to visit one of our properties before you receive your membership card in the mail, print out a copy of your membership purchase confirmation (or display confirmation on a smart phone) to receive your free admission.
