Thursday, August 23, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Roseland Cottage, 556 Route 169, Woodstock, Conn.
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea in Roseland Cottage's carriage barn while learning of a Woodstock rite of passage: tea with Miss Constance. From the mid-1930s to the mid-1960s, the Great Lady of Roseland, Henry Bowen's granddaughter Constance Holt, held a tea for the senior class of Woodstock Academy that was a significant event in graduates' lives.

Join us for a recollection of this bygone mid-century tradition, no matter what your graduation year. After tea, tour the remarkable house that three generations of Bowens called home.

Miss Constance required hat, gloves, and dresses (preferably pink) for girls, and Sunday best for the boys. We do not.
