For campers ages 9-11
Campers love exploring Casey Farm’s 300 acres. They investigate Narragansett Bay at Casey Point and the farm pond, collect aquatic critters in nets, then recreate their habitats in aquariums so they can observe what they catch. Campers hike through fields, thickets, and forests to learn about wild animals, play nature games, swim in an estuary, ride back to the farm on the hay wagon, and help feed and water a different farm animal each day. They learn how to write using quill pens, undertake a bug hunt, and learn how to make fire—and, if successful, eat smores. Crafts include nature prints, origami, weaving, and historic toy making. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Every effort will be made to place children together at your request. We do not place children more than two years apart in age in the same group. Activities may change based on inclement weather.
Refund Policy: Refunds require thirty days’ notice. Cancellations with only two weeks’ notice receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given with less than two weeks’ notice. The $75 deposit is non-refundable.
