Having trouble signing in? Try these tips:

  • Have you created an account with us since the launch of our new website in May 2010? If not, register to create one.
  • Could you have signed up with an old or rarely used e-mail?
  • Have you tried using a different browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome)? Some browsers are set to remember old information or not to remember information, which can interfere with the log-in process.
  • Have you tried Forgot Your Password? This resets your password to a temporary password. You will receive it in your e-mail and can use it to sign in and change your password to something else. For security reasons, we do not save and cannot look up your password.

Having trouble receiving your member discount? Try these tips:

  • Please ensure that your member ID is linked to your Historic New England online account. You can do this by signing in and clicking on Your Account. Re-enter your password twice, then type your member ID in the member ID box. Your member ID can be found above your name on your membership card. Once finished, click Update My Account.
  • While on the Your Account page, please make sure that your first and last name are the same as listed on your membership cards or other materials you receive from Historic New England.
  • Have you tried using a different browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Google Chrome)? Your browser may be set to remember old information or not to remember information at all, which can interfere with how your account functions.

Can't find your e-mailed receipt?

Check your spam or junk folder for an e-mail with the subject line "Historic New England Receipt" from ProgramInfo@HistoricNewEngland.org. If you still haven't received a receipt within two hours of your purchase, call 617-994-5959.
